To fulfill need of safe shed for heavy vehicles of Institute,  Mr. P.S. Shetye ( Principal) & Mr.R.V. Kokare (GI) proposed idea of  fabrication of truck shed at institute level with the help of instructors and trainees. Fabricated shed has a dimensions of (71 Ft x 25 Ft x 14 Ft). ITI Ratnagiri provided MS Angles(650 kg) & used cement corrugated sheets( 54 nos.) of size (8 Ft x 5 Ft). Krishna Anti-oxidants, MIDC Gane- Khadpoli provided MS rectangular pipe scrap (740 kg) as raw material under CSR activity. 7 bags of cement & 9 bags of  sand were utilized for foundation purpose. Cost of welding electrodes and colors used for fabrication work was Rs.26000/-. This was a collective effort of   Mr. A.P. Kadwaikar, Mr. S.D.Mohite, Mr. S.T.Kanekar, Mr. S.S.Gajmal, Mr. O.A.Devalekar, Mr.K.K.Naik, Mr.S.S.Warankar, Mr.N.R.Khedekar, Mr. M.J.Panchal & trainees. Through this work , institute has provided opportunity of actual work experience to trainees. This project is an example of effective utilization of available resources. Truck shed was jointly inaugurated by  Mr. P.S. Shetye ( Principal), Mr. Vidyanandan (Manager,Krishna Anti-oxidants), Mr. Prasad (Manager,Krishna Anti-oxidants) & Mr.Nimase (Manager,Gharda chemicals). ​
