INSTITUTE PROFILE:-
GOVERNMENT TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL, MALVAN is situated in Kumbharmath, Taluka Malvan, District Sindhudurg in Maharashtra State. The name of District has been adopted from the Greatness of historic fort Sindhudurg built-in Malvan in the Arabian Sea by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Malvan is a most popular tourism place having food specialty & adventurous water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, etc. & much more tourism attractions like Historic Sindhudurg Fort, Tarkarli Beach, Chivala Beach, Rock Garden, etc.
G.T.H.S.Malvan is easily accessible by road, only 30 kms away from NH 66, also accessible by train, 28 Kms away from Sindhudurg Konkan Railway Station. Earlier Our Institute will be very easily accessible by air, only 10 kms away from Chipi-Parule airport.
To Improve competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Attitude) in the younger age of students, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India developed NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) from 9th class (Level 1) to 12th class (Level 4). PSSCIVE, part of NCERT New Delhi has taken up the development of curriculum & course-ware for NSQF level 1 to 4 to introduce vocational courses in Secondary & Higher Secondary schools in India. Directorate of Vocational Education & Training, Mumbai, Maharashtra developed all the curriculum for NSQF.
