उल्हासनगर शहरात असलेल्या ‘दादा वासवानी शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था उल्हासनगर’ म्हणजेच आय.टी.आय.उल्हासनगर मध्ये इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स(ELTN), फिटर(FT), वेल्डर(WD) व कॉम्प्युटर(COPA) हे चार ट्रेड (व्यवसाय) शिकविले जातात. यापैकी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स (ELTN) आणि फिटर (FT) हे ट्रेड दोन वर्षे एवढ्या कालावधीचे आहेत तर वेल्डर (WD) आणि कॉम्प्युटर (COPA) या ट्रेड्स चा कालावधी एक वर्ष एवढा आहे.
- 1. Electronics Mechanic (ELTN) (Two Year duration)
- 2. Fitter (FT) (Two Year duration)
- 3. Welder (WD) (One Year duration)
- 4. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) (One Year duration)
आय.टी.आय.च्या नियमित ट्रेडला प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी दरवर्षी इयत्ता दहावी (SSC) चा निकाल(Result) लागल्यानंतर प्रवेश प्रक्रिया सुरु होते. हि प्रवेशप्रक्रिया फक्त ऑनलाईन पद्धतीनेच राबविण्यात येते.

अल्पमुदत अभ्यासक्रम (Short Term Courses)
नियमित ट्रेड्स व्यतिरिक्त आय.टी.आय. उल्हासनगर येथे काही अल्पमुदतीचे अभ्यासक्रम (कोर्स) शिकविले जातात. येथे खालील अल्पमुदत अभ्यासक्रम सुरु आहेत.

२. ज्युनिअर सॉफ्टवेअर डेव्हलपर (Junior Software Developer)
३. टेकनिकल सपोर्ट एक्झेक्युटीव्ह-नॉन व्हाईस (Technical Support Executive-Non Voice)
